Information: Lieutenant William F. Hall, Manchester Regiment, was killed in action in France on October 7th, 1917. He was the son of Mr. John Hall, 12 College Street, Belfast. He was a member of the Queen's University O.T.C., from which he was gazetted to the North Staffordshire Regiment, being afterwards transferred to the Manchester Regiment. Lieutenant Hall was temporary captain for a eight months, and led his men in several engagements with much courage and ability.
