Information: Lieutenant Lionel Charles Burnett, R.N., who was killed in action in France on August 10th, 1917, was born in 1886, and was the second son of Surgeon-General and Mrs. Burnett, of Richmond, Surrey. He was educated at Fermoy College, Co. Cork, and Bedford Grammar School, passing into H.M.S. Britannia, in July, 1901.
