Information: Major George Henry Wilson, R.F.A., killed on November 4th, was the younger surviving son of Mr. W. H. Wilson, of Carrickmines House, Carrickmines, Co. Dublin. He was born in 1890, and was educated at Radley College and Trinity College, Dublin. Later, he became a member of the London Stock Exchange. He obtained a commission in the Territorial Field Artillery in August, 1914, and went to the front with his brigade as a captain in October, 1915. He was mentioned in despatches, and obtained the rank of acting major last June. He married, in 1912, Molly, eldest daughter of Sir Ellis Cunliffe, solicitor to the Board of Trade.
