Information: Captain Gerald J. Fitzgibbon, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, was killed in action in France on November 20th, 1917. He was in his 24th year, and was a nephew of Mr. J. Fitzgibbon, Oak View, New Street, Limerick, and had only returned to the front from a visit to his relatives when he fell. Captain Fitzgibbon was a very capable officer and a brave soldier.
