Information: Lieut. G. Ivan Cope, Royal Engineers, who has been awarded the Military Cross for gallantry and distinguished services in the field, is a son of Dr. George P. Cope, 36 Harcourt Street Dublin. He was educated at St. Andrew's College and Trinity College, where he obtained his engineering degree in June, 1915, and shortly afterwards was gazetted to the Royal Engineers.
