Information: Lieutenant D. G. Philippe M.C., Royal Dublin Fusiliers, attached R.F.C., is the only son of Mrs. Philippe, 11 Grosvenor Square, Dublin. He joined the “Pals” battalion of the Royal Dublin Fusiliers on their formation, and served with them in Gallipoli and subsequently in Serbia. He was later given his commission, and served in France, being awarded the parchment certificate of his battalion and also the Military Cross. He was educated at St. Andrew's College, Dublin.
