Information: Second Lieut. Francis J. Maginn, London Regiment, is the eldest son of Mr. John Maginn, Agent, Bank of Ireland, Ballina, and is in his twenty-fifth year. He was educated at King William's College, Isle of Man, and afterwards entered the Bank of Ireland. Later he went to Canada, joining the Canadian Bank of Commerce, where he volunteered and went to France with the Canadian contingent. In September last he obtained a commission in the London Irish Rifles, the regiment in which his late brother, Capt. P.A.C. Maginn, M.C., was, and has recently been awarded the D.S.O. for distinguished service in the field.
