Information: Captain Thomas J. Costello M.B., R.A.M.C., who has been awarded the Military Cross, is the elder son of Mr. John Costello, 32 Rathdown Road, Dublin. He had a very distinguished course in the National University of Ireland, where he graduated with honours and secured several Exhibitions and Scholarships. He was the Leonard prize winner in medicine in 1913 at the Mater Hospital, where he acted as House Surgeon for six months, and was subsequently appointed Resident Physician at the Manchester Fever Hospital, from which he obtained his commission in the R.A.M.C.
