Information: Captain R. Ernest Beckerson, the Norfolk Regiment, has been granted a bar to the Military Cross, which was awarded to him in April 1917. He joined His Majesty's Forces at the outbreak of the war. Captain Beckerson is the eldest son of Mr. R.E. Beckerson of 15 Leinster Square, Rathmines, Dublin, and his brother, the Rev. W.T. Beckerson, B.D. has also been serving in France as a military chaplain with the Ulster Division since October 1916.
