Information: Captain J. Gillespie M.C., Royal Field Artillery, who has recently been awarded the Military Cross for gallantry and devotion to duty in the field, is the son of Mr. John Gillespie, solicitor and estate agent, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Captain Gillespie has seen a good deal of service at the front, and was three times wounded. He was well known in football circles, and was also an enthusiastic golfer and cricketer.
