Information: Llent. Colonel Baptist Johnston Barton D.S.O., Reserve of Officers, whose name appeared in a recent Gazette as having received a bar to his D.S.O. is the eldest son of the late Col, B. J. Barton, A.D.C., of Oremfort and Portsalon, Co. Donegal. He served with the 2nd Duke of Wellington Regiment in France and Belgium in 1914, when he gained a D.S.O., and in 1915 when he was promoted to Major, Reserve of Officers. He is now commanding a battalion of the King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry.
