Information: Major John William Seigne, Royal Marine Light Infantry, who has recently been promoted for brilliant service, is at present on the General Staff of the British Navy, and serving in China. He is a son of Mr. John T. Seigne, M.V.O., Grenane House, Thomastown, Kilkenny, His mother is a sister of the late Sir Richard Barter, of Ardcaine, St. Ann's Hill, Cork.
