Information: Major E. Kaye Parry, Royal Engineers, eldest son of Mr. W. Kaye Parry, M.Inst. C.E., F.R.I.B.A., President of the Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland, and is in his 30th year. He was educated at Aravon, Bray, Trent College, Derbyshire, and Dublin University, where he graduated both in Arts and in Civil Engineering. He joined the Royal Engineers as a Special Reserve Officer in 1909, and received twelve months' military training at Chatham. At the expiration of his training he was engaged upon Civil Engineering work and early in the year 1916 he obtained an appointment in the Public Works Department in Egypt. Shortly after the outbreak of the war he was recalled to England by the War Office, and resumed his military duties. Early in the year 1915 he was sent out to join the British Expeditionary Force, and has been on active service ever since. At the close of last year he was promoted to the rank of major. His name has been mentioned in despatches, and he has been awarded the Belgian Croix de Guerre.
