Information: Lieut. Colonel Edward J. Kavanagh D.S.O. M.C., R.A.M.C., whose name appeared in S ir Douglas Haig's recent despatches, and who has now added the D.S.O. to his Military Cross, is the eldest son of Mr. Peter Kavangh, Newtownbarry, C o. Wexford. Colonel Kavanagh was educated at St. Peter's College, Wexford, and Clongowes Wood. Having obtained his M.B. he joined the R.A.M.C., being attached to the Indian Army, and has been serving in France since the outbreak of the war.
