Information: Lieutenant W Stewart Moore, Indian Army, has heen mentioned in the late Sir Stanley Maude's despatches for gallant and distinguished service in the field. He is the son of Mr. W. Sneyd Moore, D.L., Greeba, Larne Harbour, Co, Antrim, and was educated at St, Columba's College, Rathfarnham. He was reading with a tutor for Oxford when war broke out. He then passed into the Indian Army, and went to Quetta Military Training College, from which he was posted to an Indian regiment. He served in the Mesopotamia campaign of 1916-17.
