Information: Lieut.Colonel H. S. Hodgkin D.S.O., Dragoon Guards, who was reported missing during the recent German offensive, is now known to be a prisoner in Germany. Colonel Hodgkin served through the South African war, for which he holds the Queen's and King's Medals with five clasps. He also holds the Mons medal, and has been three times mentioned in despatches. He married in 1912 Miss Elsie Gray M‘Mordie, daughter of the late Mr. R. J. McMordie, M.P.,Lord Mayor of Belfast, and Mrs. M'Mordie, of Cabin Hill, Knock, and is well known in Belfast, where he formerly served with the Cheshire Regiment. He was awarded the D.S.O. for conspicuous gallantry in the field, and promoted Brevet-Major.
