Information: Captain Albert Warren Scales, A.S.C. attached to Tank Corps, was awarded the Military Cross for gallantry in the field under heavy shell fire. Captain Scales joined the Army under the Derby Scheme in January 1916, and has been in France for nearly two years. He is the fourth son of Mr. J. W. and Mrs. Scales, of 45 Mountpleasant Square, Ranelagh, formerly of Kilfinane Co. Limerick.
