Information: Captain Alan Brabazon, Leinster Regiment, who has died of wounds received in action on March 8th, was the younger son of Mr. and Mrs. T. Brabazon, Churchtown House, Mullingar. He was educated at Corrig and Clarinda Park School, Kingstown, and entered Trinity College in June, 1914, with a high place. On the outbreak of war he joined the “Pals” Battalion, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, and in the course of two weeks received a commission in the Leinster Regiment. He served with them in Gallipoli, Salonika and Palestine, and was mentioned in despatches.
