Information: Lieut. Albert Guy Dignan, South Irish Horse, killed in action March 21st, was the third son of Mr. and Mrs. C.C. Dignan, of Ballinagard House, Roscommon. He was previously reported missing, and on 19th May it was officially announced that he had been killed in action. The deceased, who was educated at St. Bede's College, Manchester, received his commission in the South Irish Horse in September, 1915, and proceeding to France in the following November served there until his death.
