Information: Captain J.J. Breen, Royal Air Force (late Royal Irish Regiment), whose name appears in General Sir Herbert Plumer's despatches for distinguished service, is son of the late T.J. Breen, Inspector-General of Hospitals and Fleets, Royal Navy, and Mrs. Breen, 15 Waterloo Road, Dublin. He was educated at Beaumont College, Old Windsor, and Trinity College. Dublin, was gazetted from Sandhurst to the Royal Irish Regiment in 1915, and joined the Royal Flying Corps the same year.
