Information: Lieutenant Joseph Acheson, South Lancashire Regiment, died on June 12th from wounds received in action on May 27th. 1918. He was the son of the late Mr. John Acheson and Mrs. Acheson, Drumadilles, Derrygonnelly, and had served in France since August, 1914, taking part in all the principal engagements. He received his commission in the field for his ability.
