Information: Captain George O’D. F. Thomas O’Donel, 4th Battalion Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment), who has been mentioned in despatches and has recently been awarded the Military Cross, is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O’Donel, of Newport, County Mayo, and great-grandson of Sir Richard O'Donel, Bart., on the death of whose son and successor, Sir George O’Donel, without male issue, the baronetcy became extinct. Captain Thomas-O’Donel, who is Adjutant of his regiment, has been engaged in the operations in France since the early stages of the war, and has distinguished himself on various occasions.
