Information: Lieutenant George Neville Patrick Young, second son of George L. Young, J.P ., of Culdaff House, Co. Donegal, and Millmount, Randalstown, Co. Antrim. Born 17th March, 1893, educated at Castle Park Preparatory School, St. Columba’s College and Dover College, from where he entered Sandhurst, 1912, gaining a Prize Cadetship. Gazetted 2nd Lieutenant Leinster Regiment, September, 1913. Went out with Expeditionary Force, September, 1914. Mentioned in despatches and awarded Military Cross, February, 1915.
