Information: Major Ernest Graham Hamilton D.S.O., Connaught Rangers, is now commanding the 1st Batt. of that regiment. He has been awarded the D.S.O. for services in Mesopotamia, where he was Brigade Major of the 9th Infantry Brigade. He went to France in August, 1914, and took part in the Retreat from Mons, and the battles of the Aisne, the Marne, Ypres, Neuve Chapelle and Festubert. He was awarded the Military Cross and has been three times mentioned in despatches.
