Information: 2nd Lieutenant Victor Aloysius Lentaigne, Connaught Rangers, killed in action at the Battle of the Aisne. He was the youngest son of Sir John Lentaigne, F.R.S.C.I., Merrion Square, Dublin, and grandson of the Right Hon. Sir John F. Lentaigne, P.C., D.L. Mr. Lentaigne was only twenty-one years of age, and was gazetted to the Connaught Rangers in January, 1914.
