Information: Second Lieutenant Hubert P. Fisher, 3rd Shropshire Light Infantry, attached Gloucester Regiment, was killed in action in France on July 9th, 1916, whilst leading his platoon to the first German trenches. Lieut. Fisher was in his 20th year, and was educated at the High School, Waterford, and Chesterfield College, Birr. He obtained his commission in May, 1915.
