Information: Lieutenant Albert V. Kent, Connaught Rangers, son of Mr. J.P. Kent, Dublin, has received the Military Cross, for conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. Although wounded he led his men forward with great courage and determination under very heavy fire. Later he withdrew his men in perfect order, covering their withdrawal himself, and continuing to fire until his wound rendered this no longer possible, and in addition he has been presented with a parchment certificate for gallantry by General Hickie.
