Information: Lieutenant F.W.S. Jourdain, Connaught Rangers, who has been recently mentioned in Despatches, is the son of the Rev. F. Jourdain, M.A., Rector of Appleton, near Abingdon, Berks, and nephew of Lieut. Col. H. F. Newdigate Jourdain, C.M.G., the Connaught Rangers. He entered the R.M.C., Sandhurst, in 1915, and got a commission in the Connaught Rangers in 1916, going to France the same year and serving with the 16th Irish Division.
